Edit: I’m reverting all the changes regarding localization because Unity’s addressable system and/or localization system causes a bug where I can no longer delete any scripts. It will crash the editor when I try to play the game if I do (amoung other errors and headaches).

Specifically:

Unknown managed type referenced: [Assembly-CSharp]

The only fix for this bug I could find is to upgrade to a later version of unity. This seems ridulous to me, and I refuse.

One day I will recreate the localization. Unfortunely I’m sure it won’t be as good but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been adding localization to Smol Adventure. (and replacing some menu options with painfully hand-drawn icons)
English + 11 languages.
Man... it's tough.

Am I one of those people who should have started this *way earlier* in development?
- yes.

Did I spend two days doing nothing but this and almost giving up and crying?
- yes.

But now that I've suffered the consequences of my own actions, *will I make these mistakes again in the future?*
- yes.
